Jia laughed "Speed dial is a lovely thing. Sadly, I don't use the phone often enough to worry about it." She nodded slowly, looking at the manga for a second. "That is very true. Not to mention you could read like....eight sets in a day, depending on the complexity of each one. Well, how many books there are, not how complex they are." She looked back at Seoras, feeling like she was rambling slightly.
Jia nodded again "People just want people around them. Sometimes being alone is better. Sadly, most people don't experience that because they are too busy trying to be popular or something."

"What? A teenage girl that doesn't live on the phone? I thought they were extinct...what a marvelous find," Seoras teased in a cliche 'Old British Archaeologist' voice. He switched back to his normal tone for the serious topic of manga. "Yes, with a bit of free time on one's hands, it is amazing how many of these books can by burned through...Ah, don't mind my bit of a ramble there, manga makes up a good deal of my sad, miserable life." He was still smiling, proving that his life couldn't be quite as sad as he described it. "And I for one get plenty of alone time. I don't usually want many people around me, present company excepted of course. Sometimes I think that if all the energy people use to be fake versions of themselves to get friends that are just as fake were put to constructive use, our generation would be the most prolific since the Renaissance in Italy."

Jia laughed "Oh I know. I'm the odd one out. Even my step-sisters talk on the phone all the time. So it doesn't really matter where I am. I'm surpirsed Sam and Raven...my brother and step-brother...can survive." She smiled when the conversation turned back to Manga. "Sad and miserable life huh? If I wasn't involved with drama I'm sure I'd be just like you with manga...though, I wouldn't call it sad, more like....great fun." Of course, Seoras was smiling, so that meant he didn't really mean it, but hey. Jia nodded. "I know, people these days are fairly pathetic. I"m not meaning you of course, just people in general, like the ones at school. But I agree, people do wear masks usually. It gets kind of annoying, you think you know someone, then they take their mask off, and they are completely different."
