When one was bored, one had to do something. So today Jia had decided to come check out some new anime stuff, books and movies alike. She needed something new to read, since she had read hers a million and one times, and she needed a good movie to watch, having the same problem as the books.
Sighing she walked over to the anime section and began reading the titles. Sure, Jia had a few books in mind, but the question is, did they have the ones she wanted? "Inu, CHobits, DNAngel..." She said softly to herself. Where was Aria? Did they even have them? Or Lambent of the Lamb, those wer good and she only needed the last one. She continued looking, saying titles to herself as she went.

The entirety of Seoras's thoughts at this moment in time could be summed up in one word: Anime. He loved to read mangas, plain and simple, and this was his favorite store in the mall. He was reading an FMA manga; it was his friend Tim's fault really, he had lent Seoras one of them and got him hooked. The goth figured it was a waste of time to try and rationalize it and figured he might as well read...and ignore any stares he may have been getting.
He was sitting at the base of the anime section off to one side so as to get in as few people's ways as possible, reading the third Fullmetal Alchemist. As he reached the last page he became aware of a person standing nearby. Hearing a voice, he glanced up and saw a girl reading the titles of the books on the shelves as though she was looking for something inparticular. Might as well give her a hand...
"Looking for anything special? Maybe I can be of some assistance." Seoras didn't work there, but he practically knew the anime section by heart from the countless hours well-spent reading in his little spot where he now sat.

((OOC: manga! *smacks head* I was trying to remember that for the longest time while posting this yesturday))
Jia's eyes landed on a book she had merely heard of. As she brought her hand up to grab it she heard a voice. "Looking for anything special? Maybe I can be of some assistance." Jia looked over towards the voice and saw that it was a boy. "oh, um...sure," She said, looking at the book for a second long before abandoning it.
Standing up fully Jia looked over at the boy. "Have you heard of any manga by the names or Aria or Lambent of the Lamb?" She asked curiously. Those were the only two books she really cared about. "I havn't found them anywhere. I'm begining to wonder if I'm even looking in the right section...even though they are manga."

"Don't worry, you're in the right section. Aria is in the top left corner there." Seoras pointed to the very top corner of the shelf furthest away from him, on her left side. "And Lambent of the Lamb is...hmmm..."
He reached behing his head with his left hand, keeping himself facing out from the shelf. Seoras started at the very outside edge of the fourth shelf up from the bottom and began walking his fingers inward, counting silently. His hand paused for a moment, and he grabbed the book his fingers were on, pulling it out and holding it out to her.
"Right here. Sorry, I was kinda in the way of that one." He got to his feet with a somewhat overdramatic sound effect. "The others are right there if this isn't the one you want..." He paused, looking at the cover. "Looks like...the last one? I'm not too familiar with this story..."

Jia looked at the indicated corner and smiled. She walked over to the corner and read the titles. Finding bok two in the series she picked it p off the shelf and looked the book over, as if checking to see it was the right book. Then she looked over at the boy as he made overdramatic sound effects as he stood up.
Jia looked at the book he was holding and grinned. "That would be it alright." She smiled and held her hand out, not wanting to look rude and just grab it from his hands. "I take it you either work here, or just take this as one of your favored hang out stops."
As she waited for his reply Jia fiddled with the book in her hand. She wasn't nervous, but she was excited. At last she had saved up enough money to get some more manga. It was always and great time when she was shopping for manga. Jia looked at the boy with a small smile on her face.

As he passed her the book from his newly aquired upright position, he smiled. "I'll admit it, I'm a complete anime and manga geek. I don't work here, but I cansafely say I know more than most of the staff about this little corner here. I must have read at least half of these books by now, and I know where to find the rest. It's only a tiny obsession of mine." He suddenly blinked, as though something had just occurred to him, which it clearly had. "How silly of me, I forgot to introduce my self. Seoras Nova Reinard, manga nerd extroidinaire, at your service," told her with a theatrical bow. It was kinda his way of doing things, which made him weird, even for a goth.

Jia laughed "Anime freaks of the world unite!" She grinned "So then if you know more than the staff, why not apply to work here? I'm sure they could use someone who knows about manga. That way people like me can talk to them to find what they are looking for." She gave a sheepish grin "I wouldn't call mine an obsession, I just like to read manga." Then, Seoras, as he called himself, introduced himself. "Jia Li Ryder," She said bowing her head slightly "Drama geek, Choir nerd, manga loving weirdo." She thought about what she had said "Sounds weird even to me after hearing it...that sounded so much cooler in my head."

"You know, I've thought about getting a job here, but then they might actually make me work!" he said laughing. "How could I possibly read all this manga and do menial jobs around here too? I'm talented, but I don't know about that..."
He listened as she introduced herself in much the same way he had. "Many things do have a tendancy to work perfectly in our minds, but once they hit the open air waves they don't work as well as we would have liked. It is a pleasure to meet you, Jia. You seem to me to be quite a rule breaker..."
"She'll have absolutely no idea what I just said...now all she has to do is ask..." He was such a fruit cake, and he accepted that, which gave him all the excuse he needed to try and flirt with any pretty girl he saw as long as they had a brain behind their looks. This was a complete set up, horribly constructed and structured almost like a bad pick-up line, but it looked like she might walk right into it. Always fun, flirting, if nothing else.

Jia grinned "But then you get money out of it. Besides, you should just work where you like to be, otherwise work is boring. In my opinion at least." She grinned. A guy multi-tasking? He was right, almost impossible. "Alright, you win that one. The manga reading wins in that case." She smirked slightly.
"Rule breaker?" Jia questioned Seoras. "how exactly am I a rule breaker?" She wouldn't put in the fact that she has, in fact, broken several rules, but most people do by the time they are thirteen anyways. Rules are meant to be broken.
Of course, her question about how she was a rule breaker revolved in her head. BUt then a thought popped up. 'I think he's a bit of a flirt....cute' Jia simply grinned at Seoras. Repeating herself after trying to figure it out in her head, she said "How am I a rule breaker?"

"I should give her more credit, it appears she may have found me out...still, this will be fun..."
"You my lady, are breaking al the rules of cliches. Manga loving girls aren't normaly allowed to be that beautiful. It's just not fair to the rest of us social outcasts if you go parading around reading manga and stealing hearts at the same time." Yes, this was fun, flirting always was...for him at least. He couldn't help himself, it was just something he did if he found a new female friend, and continued to do with the ones he had. As long as they didn't take him too seriously when he said weird things, they were ok. He never lied about their looks when he complimented them however; he was blessed with knowing serveral pretty girls that were essentially his best friends.

It's just not fair to the rest of us social outcasts if you go parading around reading manga and stealing hearts at the same time." Jia smiled sweetly "Now why would I do a thing like that?" She smirked "Besides, being socially outcasted isn't a bad thing. But stealing hearts, I guess its a hidden talent?" She said it as a stated question. It didn't matter if Seoras replied to that one.
Jia grinned. Apparently Seoras was flirting with her. But that didn't matter. A little flirting never hurt anyone....right? It didn't hurt her, and guys never complained. She wouldn't either.

And now for the semi-fake semi-thin Brittish-y accent. "Hidden? Perhaps to you, love, but quite visible to the rest of the world. I'm sorry to say that it is all some men will ever see of you; I fear my gender has a tendency to focus solely on the physical beauty, and many sweet girls with slightly less than perfect faces but incredible minds are let free to roam the world alone. A terrible thing, I can assure you, for most young girls." Seoras dropped the accent in favor of a more characteristic and silly smile. "But at least that makes the wonderful people such as myself able to blow in as a breath of fresh air!" Wow, that would sound completely self-centered out of context...

Jia couldn't help but laugh at the British accent impression. "And then what is a girl like me to do?" She said, giving the whole helpless woman feel to it. She smiled slightly. "Of course, I should have known that guys don't look past the skin." She didn't say it as a insult or in a hurtful way, just a playful statement. "It would be a terrible thing to roam the world alone for all eternity. Thats why you find so many couples in schools." She laughed at his silly smile. "If I had just walked in on this conversation I would have said you are horribly self-centered. But since I didn't, I can see your point."

"Fear not, fair damsel, for I have a solution. Guys may only look at the outside, but I am not A man, I am THE man, and am therefore far superior in that respect to my fellows. For me, the mind is the important part, and the beauty is a bonus." His voice took on a soft and serious tone for a brief second. "I've never been able to understand guys who don't think that way...but anyways! I'm not being self-centered if someone like you agrees with my awesomeness, now am I? I find your opinion very convincing." He was babbling, and it was fun. He didn't get to do this often enough...

The man? How many guys said that one? Never the less, Jia grinned. "So then you aren't one of those typical guys. That just brings up, as you say, awesomeness. I thinks its great that at least one guy looks to the mind before looks." She thought about why guys saw the looks before the true beauty of girls. "I guess because they want all their guy friends to be jealous of their "catch."" Jia laughed "Well, you have given me no reason to disagree with you awesomeness so far." She grinned "Besides, I see no problem with a guy boosting his ego. I wouldn't be surprised if people shoot down your ego all the time."
