Raquella was not the quintessence of 'party girl', but that did not mean she didn't enjoy a night out. Unfortunately, her cousin Aiko, visiting from Osaka, was. She partied, drank, drove, and had various sorts of fun. And now, the two Sawamatsu girls decided that they needed to go partying. The more responsible half of their duo thought it would be best to go to Dawn.
They were beautiful people. Raquella was dressed in a rose pink, pale green and pale blue floral pattern dress that fluttered to above her knees, had it's billowing sleeves rolled up, a deep-plunging V neck, and a white lacy tanktop underneath. Then, geisha makeup. White face, red lips. Her long black hair had been pinned up with a jade clip. She teetered to 5'10 in red heels. Aiko, however, had the same makeup. But the resemblance ended. She was in a hot pink, lemon yellow and fire orange wrap dress, very short, with thin straps and a low neckline. And Aiko's hair was up, but had seductive curling strands framing the face.
"Sparkling water." You know how a lot of native Asian people have that sort of accent when they speak English? Raquella used it for a hint of innocence.
That hint was pretty deceiving.

[Hey! I love Memoirs of a Geisha! I'm using Ziyi Zhang (Sayuri)]
Mina strolled around the Dawn club. It wasn't exactly her favorite hang out or place to be in. She preferred Starbucks, or the Movie Theater. However, she wasn't in the mood for a night out. She had seen no one yet, though. In her hand, she held a drink, and still continiued to walk around. She came a accross a girl who looked Asain, just like Mina. But, she had never seen the girl before. The girl looked around her age. "Hello, I'm Mina Cheng, Sopohmore."

((Hah. Me too. I'm using Li Gong, the woman who plays that super-mean person. Han-something. I tried to make her as much like that character as possible. Hearing a voice, Raquella turned over at a 45 degree angle. A girl. She wasn't the sort of person who introduced herself to everybody. She had a reputation for being loud and noticeable. So people knew who she was. This girl, she seemed pretty confident. Or casual. "Raquella." She held out a hand. "This is my cousin Aiko." Aiko wasn't paying attention, but flirting with an older man in hopes for some alcohol. As mean, manipulative and rude that she was, at least she said hello to...Mina. "Are you here with anybody?" The bartender had returned with a sparkling water. "Mina, would you like something to drink?" Hell, she was a potential ally. She wasn't going to be rude.

[Oh yea. Hatsumomo]
Mina shook the girl's hand. "Pleasure to meet you Raquella," she smiled. "And Aiko." She was going to hold out her hand to Aiko, but she was chatting with someone else.
"Well, uh, no." Mina replied. "I'm not with anyone. This place isn't where I hand out often." she said. "Well, I meet most people at Starbucks, but never here." Her boyfriend wasn't here. But, she did have fun with him.
"Of course!" she said. "Er..what do you have?"

(Hatsumomo made me angry while watching it. I felt like going 'you ho' and ripping all her hair out. I get into movies too much.) "Sparkling water. But whatever you want." She was turned to face Mina completely. She then continued on talking. "I don't come here a lot either. My family was just visiting. So, do you go to Fairfeild?" The art of conversation was an art more challenging than music, dance, and a million other fairly difficult things. Raquella, fortunately, had mastered it to a point. Except for the fact she asked too many questions.

Thump. "Ow..."
That was the sound of Seoras's head hitting the bar. He sat on a bar stool with his forehead pressed against the varnished wood of the bar, still trying to figure out why he was here. He could scarcely stand this place. The DJ refused to play music he liked, also known as Oldies, and the air...ugh. He was strange, even for a goth, in that he couldn't stand most modern music. Oldies all the way for him.
He raised his head to take a sip of his rootbeer, and put his head back down. "Ow...not again..." That was another thing many people found odd about him: he never drank alcohol, unlike most of the people he knew nad was friends with. He'd just never seen why he should, and the smell of the stuff was terrible.
He was wishing for something to break the boredom when he heard an unfamiliar voice at his side. "Sparkling water." With an Asian accent...He turned his head to see who was there, and had he not been so out of touch with reality he would have been surprised. Instead he just gave a half smile at what lay before him. Two Oriental-type girls dressed like they were in different centuries, but both with the white Giesha-faces. One was tall on her heels with a very traditional looking blue-green dress. The other was shorter and clad in a firey easter explosion sewn into a garment. A girl walked up and began speaking with the taller one as the rainbow-in-a-tornado moved off a bit to flirt with men 3 times her age. He never understood girls...wait he knew that newcomer...
He raised his head for a better look. Yes, that was definitely her..."Mina? Hey, what are you doing here without your darling Jack? Ditch him for a night on the town?" he inquired somewhat softly. Being loud was rarely for him and he avoided being so whenever possible.

"Er..Sparkling Water, I suppose," she said, though she had never tried it before. "Same here. I don't come to place either. And yes, I am from Fairfield. However, I've been livin' in the United Kingdom for awhile, then I came back here as a freshmen." And now, Mina was a Sophomore. Mina turned around and heard a familiar voice. Oh yeah, how can Mina forget? It was Seoras Reinard. That notorious boy at school. Mina didn't hate him, the both of them were just acqauitnaces. "Er..hi Seoras. I have no idea where Jack is. And how do you know?"

"Alright." She swiftly ordered another sparkling water from the bartender, in case he hadn't heard Mina. Well, she couldn't blame him, but the bartender was stuck in the conversation between Aiko and the older guy. Aiko was having some vodka, courtesy of him. People just liked looking at her.
"Interesting. I've never been to the UK. I came to Farfeild when I was 13, and now I'm a Sophomore too."
Raquella glanced at the boy who had questioned her new friend about 'Jack'. Her eyes were not any sort of emotion. She hoped that this man didn't know she was any bit related to the lady seated beside her. "Who are you?"

"How? He's always talking about you. The history teacher can never get Jack to stop talking about his 'perfect girlfriend' in class to the people around him."
He got off the bar stool to introduce himself. "Seoras Nova Reinard at your service, it is a pleasure, my lady," he said with a bow. Most people were surprised to see what they had perceived to be a punk goth to actually be polite and formal when the situation called for it, and occaisionally when it didn't. "Might I inquire as to your name? And possibly your friend's, though she seems rather busy at the moment, I'd prefer not to disturb her." His voice dropped lower as a smile tried to force its way out. "I'm not sure my eyes could take it if she came any closer wearing that rainbow affair."

At first, she was a little startled. It showed. Then, her pretty face took the form of a smirk. That face was sort of 'Are you kidding me?' mixed in equal parts of 'What do I say?' and a dash of sarcastic 'Holy shit.'
"My name is Raquella Sawamatsu. This is Aiko, my cousin. She has a questionable taste in fashion, but we do shock nonetheless." She laughed and smiled. They were more similar than most would think. While Aiko Sawamatsu was upfront and plain out a slut, Raquella was more of a secretive whore, and only to a certain handful.

"Erm..yeah." she said. "We've been dating for about a month." she said. Yes, she did like Jack, but she never knew he had constantly talked about her...
Mina looked at Raquella. It didn't bother her to see the look on her face. But then, she noticed the make up all over Raquella's face. However, she looked brilliant. She looked like a geisha from Japan. "Say Raquella, are you a geisha?" she asked. Mina knew alot about geisha. But, geisha weren't really free to love anyone, and they had to go through so much suffering...

"Well, when I finish highschool, my mother is sending me to my aunt's okiya." A smile spread over her face. Raquella always smiled whenever she talked about that destiny. Her mother had told her about what she wanted her to do, and that was the only way to make Raquella understand why she wasn't going to inherit the bulk of their fortune.
"It is so exiting, and certainly a dying part of Japanese culture. I, for one, do not want it to die." There were plenty of geisha in the Sawamatsu family history. Unfortunately, the world was a changed place since earlier times.

"Oh, well good luck on becoming a geisha." Mina said. "Do, you like wearing those kimono and tying your hair up?" she asked. The kimono geisha wore were beautiful! Though, she had heard they were very hard to put on. It takes like an hour to put it on, she had heard. The ornaments in a geisha's hair were also very pretty. Mina would like to become one, if she got the chance.

"I've been practicing. It's a lot of hard work, but it's beautiful. I've been trying to put on the make up myself." It was overwhelmingly difficult, and it was one of the few things she would admit to not being the best at. She was lucky, that was for certain.
Her eyes slowly checked up on Aiko, who was smushing herself up to the man who bought her the vodka and now talking to his friend. It made her wish that they didn't share the same bloodline, and they were strangers. Aiko was supposed to go to the okiya as well, but her mother had decided that she was more fit for another path in life.
"Aiko." She said, commandingly. Raquella sent her a glare.

"Heh, I wouldn't be able to that all the work myself," Mina said. She wasn't very good with make-up, fashion, or hairstyles. While she lived in the UK, she wore uniforms all day. But on weekends, she's wear simple, non-trendy, non-preppy clothes.
