Escaping from Tragedy

[Angel]

Angel arrived at her three story victorian mansion with Pete and Lindsay. She opened the gate and walked up the driveway and took out her keys and opened the door. She held the door open for them. "follow me.." she said as she walked into the kitchen. It had marble floor with a black corian counter top and three counters and a stainless stell refrigerator and same with the oven and microwave. She pulled out two stools " sit..." she said to them as she leaned on the counter.

[Pete Starintino]

Pete followed Angel, the look of suprise the last time Pete came here was gone. He just followed. Then he sat down. Not really knowing what to say. He couldent pull himself out of this one.

[Angel]

Angle brought out three shot glasses and poured tequila in them. She set them on the counter in front of them " figured you guys could use it..." she said as she downed hers " you guys are welcome to stay here as long as you want, my parents are on a cruise." she said sa she grabbed the bottle of tequila.

[Pete Starintino]

Petes poison was put infront of him, and he drank it quickly. Secrets where no good, and his secret addiction was pretty obvious. He just couldent speak to anyone. And it was killing him.

[Angel]

Angle then filled up his and her shot glass and set the bottle down and drank the shot again.

[Pete Starintino]

Pete drank again. Then put the glass down. "I have to stop..." He said in his head, but out loud to no one in particular. He was just wishing for someone to yell at him, shake him out of this addiction that has been ruining him. But no has, and it seemed no one will, it would just have to be him.

[Angel]

Angel poured herself another one and offered Pete another one, if he didn't want another one she wasn't gonna make him drink it.

[Pete Starintino]

Pete couldent resist it, he took another shot. "I am so sorry i did this to you Angel... you shouldent of have been dragged in." He said getting tipsy now. Soon he would be into the "Pour your heart out" drunk state if he kept it up.

[Angel]

Angel handed him the bottle as she took her shot again " don't worry about it...." she said as she set down her glassand looked around. " ther eare two beds upstairs for you guys if you plan on staying" she told them.

[Pete Starintino]

he nodded. Angel seemed confused and or mad. He had no idea what to say anymore. "Is it okay if i go to sleep?" He asked looking down.

[Angel]

" of course...." she said as she sat there watching him. She hoped he wasn't mad at her because it kind of seemed like it.

[Pete Starintino]

"Thanks for everything..." Pete said, not wanting to sound bitter twords her but he wasent thinking straight. He went to where Angel told him to go, and he laid down. He really just wanted his mom to scream at him, which sounded weird, but he needed someone to snap him out of this. He couldent do it himself. And sleep was a million miles away...

[Angel]

" your welcome.." she said as she sat down next to Lindsay " you ok?" she asked her knowing she probably wasn't. She put a comforting arm on her back as she sighed.

Lindsay walked in and sat. When the tequila came out she stared at it. She had a problem when it came to this. She stared at it. She could feel it burning into her eyes. Then finally, she drank it. She gently placed the glass down and watched the scene develop. Pete took about 3 shots. She wanted so badly to take it and pur it on the floor so he wouldn't drink it. But that would mean that he would do the same to hers. And she just couldn't have that. When Pete asked to go to sleep, Lindsay looked up at him. She had sadness in her eyes. She gave Pete a small smile and said, "Goodnight." just above a whisper. When Angel asked if she was okay, the only reply she could muster up was "No."

[Angel]

" i know bu tfigured we could pretend..." she said as she poured another shot for herself and Lindsay then ut the bottle away. The last thing the needed was to be in this much amount of pain and be totally wasted. She sighed " i know i can't possibly imagine what your going through, but i'm trying hard and i'm always here to comfort you" she told her.
