--Artemis sat in an empty cell, staring out ahead of her. She didn't know how long she had been there, but she'd already been interrrogated, booked, and locked in a cell.--
--The police had gotten really pissed, especially the interrogater, since she just sat there as he yelled. She didnt' confess, or claim her innocence, she just looked past him, her eyes vacant and not caring.--
--It seemed like her world was crashing down around her. She'd called her parents, and they had told her not to bother coming home, that she'd better find a new place to live.--
--She sat there alone, and quiet, her knees by her chest. She hugged her knees, and stared out straight ahead of her, her mind in a fog. She didnt' know what was going on, nor did she care. She was screwed, so what mattered anymore. She heard the cops talking, saying that a bunch of people were there to see her, but she didn't hear any of them. She didnt' see anything, or hear, or feel, just sat there, devoured by her own mind.--
--she was doing what she'd done when she was little. When things got tough, she locked her self in her own mind. The doctors said it was a coping mechanism. There had been a time, right after her parents divorce, that she didnt' say anything for almost a month. she just went about her daily life, not saying a word, just staring straight ahead, as if she was a ghost that was not actually there. Thats how she was now.--

Lindsay hopped out of her car rather fast and jumped to the building, still wiping away tears. She went up tot the counter and said, "Hi, need to see Artemis." The police officer told her she wasn't allowed and she lost control, "You let me in there NOW!" she said, shoving past him and waiting. A cop said it was fine and led her to the cell. "Artemis" she said quietly. The cop let her in. "Artemis, its okay. It's not your fault. Its mine. I should have never even dated him. I'm so sorry. Theres no way I'm not getting you out of this mess." she said, tears running down her cheeks, her mascara running everywhere.

--Artemis looked up at her, but it took a few moments to register who it was. She didnt' know really how to respond. She saw the cop watching her as she spoke...-
"Dont' worry about it. I'll be fine." she said quietly
--The cop looked at her, curiously--
"She speaks...." he said an odd tone to his voice...."and here we were, thinking she was a mute..."

Lindsay glared down the cop. "Don't talk Artemis. Wait for a lawyer. Are you on bail. Just shake your head." Lindsay felt tears began to flow heaveir and she attempted to hold them back. No use. She let them flow and gave Artemis a hug. "It gunna be alraight. I promise."

--Artemis looked at her. Well, not at her, more like, past her. She shrugged.--
"really, I'm fine. I have nothing left to loose." she said simply, as if that should clear everything up

Remoc was sitting on his motorcycle right outside the station. Unfortunatley, he had to speed down a side road when a cop caught him doing 80, so he didn't beat the cruiser to the station. He had decided to wait for Terri while he sent Seoras in. He sent Seoras in for two reasons. To make sure Arty was fine, and because he didn't want him puking on his bike. Guy looked white as a sheet...not that he normally doesn't, though.
Meanwhile, he had stayed outside for two reasons as well. To see what Mr. Reinard had to say, and to an extent to shove the fact that Remoc was there first in Terri's face.
What's taking him so long...probably got lost. I hope Seoras didn't too.
