Lindsay looked around the dark auditorium. There was little light coming in from the small windows at the top. They seemed to have not been cleaned in ages. She placed her skinny legs up on the back of the seat in front of her, careful not to scratch the fabric on the chairs with the heels on the end of her strabby black boots. She sighed and looked to the worn out curtain that cpvered the stage that had been her refugee so many times. And yet, she was sitting in the stands today. The empty auditorium gave off a different vibe today. Something that read, after this year, you won't have me anymore. It kind of mad her a little sad that she was a senior. But she was destined to get out of the school. Her hands shook a small bit as she smoothed out her black skull shirt and her poofy black skirt that covered the top half of her jeans. She hadn't worn the outfit in awhile. But today seemed like a day of change. She sighed at the feeling of being lonely and rested her head back on the chair, not closing her eyes.

Aries walked slowly to the Auditorium, admiring the artwork that was pasted on the walls. Art club was really going at it this year. The regular brick walls were starting to gain some color. Hey, just because Aries wore a lot of black, didn’t mean he wanted the school to look like a crypt. Some of the art was really great, some was a bit disturbing. What was with the giant sun? Creepy. Never mind that. Aries tugged on one of his lip rings and continued on his way. Where was the best place to go during a break? The Auditorium. Barely anyone went in there anymore. It was like a grave. Only the drama club sometimes used it after school.
Within an instant, the doors to the auditorium were opened and a little more light revealed the room clearer. Good, it was empty---
No, it wasn’t.
A girl sat by her lonesome, leaning back on the chair. Hmm, strange. Aries assumed he was the only one that went here during his break. Very odd indeed. He advanced toward the girl, walking slowly. Did he want to scare her off already? Psh. No. He brushed a piece of black hair away from his eyes and gave a small smile, not getting too close to the girl.
“Hello…”

Lindsay looked up, only to see Aries. She felt her face burn up a bit at the sight of him. "Hey Aries." she said, looking up, but trying to remove the bright red color from her cheeks. She smiled at him and closed her book. She stood up and scooted over a seat. "Care to sit?" she asked politely. She looked at him, pretending not to stare. Why did she have to be so, so....madly crushing on him. I guess thats how you would put it. She sighed a little, not knowing what the sigh was really for. "What's up?" she asked.

Oh, thank god. It was just Lindsay. At least she wouldn’t run away screaming, like he originally thought. Well…hopefully she wouldn’t run away screaming. He gave a more confident smile and walked up the stars to the stage. She looked really pretty today…shut up, shut up, shut up! Aries pushed the thought out of his head and sat down. Fixing the chair, he took another glance toward Lindsay. Really pretty…
SHUT IT!
Okay. It’s all-good.
“Sure”, he replied, pulling on his lip ring a little. Bad habits never die. Not that Aries was nervous. It was just one of those really old habits, that were probably never going away. Unless he took them out. Now THAT was something to consider. Please, Aries loved his lip rings. Nothing would change that. Getting off topic again? Yup. “What are you doing here, sitting in the dark? I thought I was the only anti-social kid in this school”, Aries teased.

"Ahh, but you aren't. There is another like you." she said smiling brightly. So sexy, yes, so very sexy. Stop Lindsay! She tried to keep his gaze and not look down at her feet. She watched him pull on his lip rings. His very sexy lip rings. Stop it! You're doing it again. She couldn't help it this time. She looked at her feet. Then she looked up again. Why did she have to be so attracted to her best friend? Oh yeah, because he was sexy. Lindsay, get a grip. She looked back up at him, still smiling and still blushing. Her face felt as though she had been laying on an oven when she was around him.
(I keep having the urge to call you damien...lol)

“Aww, at least I have someone to sit with me now. Usually it is me, dust, and the spiders.” Though, the spiders were pretty good company. All they do is crawl around and keep things interesting. Aries looked back at Lindsay, his eyes twinkling. Was she afraid of spiders? It would be interesting to find out. Oh no, now was not the time, not the time at all. Wait, hold up. Why was she being so awkward today? Was this going to be one of those, “I don’t think we should be friends anymore” moment? Yeah. That would suck. No, she wouldn’t do that. Not out of the blue anyways. The two have been in worse fights. They weren’t even fighting at the moment.
“Why so quiet? Usually you are the queen of happy. Something up?”

Heh- Yeah. You're just looking extremely sexy today
She thought this to herself. Like she would ever say that. Should she tell him what she was feeling. Mind as well. She made that promise to tell him everything. "Umm, yeah well." she started. "I don't know how to put it." She honestly was at a lost for words. Why couldn't he see how much she liked him. Her face was bright red for Christ's sake! She attempted not to stammer. Go for it, Linds. That was what her heart was telling her. She thought she might let him say a few words himself. It was just, she needed to hear his voice again before she said another word. It might calm her down a bit. Lindsay, your losing it again. "Aries, I really like you as a friend, but....is it er- just me, or do you feel something....more?" What the hell Lindsay! That was the best way you could put it? Youu idiot. Lindsay controlled her mind and waited for a response. Why couldn't she think of a beter way to put it. "I'm sorry, I sound like an idiot." Lindsay looked down at her feet helplessly. What was said, was already said.
