The chains on Aries pants apparently jingled too much and he was kicked out of the bookstore. Psh. Losers. They didn’t appreciate a good pair of pants. Why not try to music store? There was probably so much music blasting, that no one would take notice of his jingly pants. Hopefully they weren’t blasting rap music this time. Aries wasn’t too fond of the whole “gangster” image. People walked around screaming how gangster they were and that they would “pop a cap in yo’ ass”, but they rarely did it. To him, most rap music was just about sex and getting rich. What happened to real music these days? Where did Queen go? Seriously. Lately, it was all overplayed bands and music that made you want to go get your girlfriend pregnant. Where was the fun in that? Not that Aries didn’t like music from this generation, but some of it was a little…eh. Now was not the time. He just wanted to buy a CD and get out.
Aries walked into the Quarter Note and a small smile appeared on his lips. No rap, good. Actually, Godsmack was playing in the background. Nice. It was tolerable music for once. Wow. Shocker! Oh what to get, what to get…so many choices. You have you classic rock and then your metal…choices…so many genres. Aries brushed a piece of raven-black hair away from his eyes and peered at every CD title. What was Fall Out Boy? Strange…better ignore that one. Pop wasn’t really Aries thing. Anything played on MTV was usually crap. Not including the Used or Avenged Sevenfold. They were tolerable in his book. Aries pale fingers danced across each CD cover, sometimes picking them up and glancing at the cover. Oh yeah. This was going to take a while.
