Raquella Sawamatsu didn't understand why there was Coach in the Fairfield Mall. Too many poor people to make a decent mark, not enough potential buyers, and nobody here owned very much designer clothing. This was not a high class world. This was just plain average.
Coach was one of the best manufacturers of fine leather goods, so she felt quite at home there. Her first run-in with high fashion when, at age 12, she bought a very faux-looking Louis Vuitton purse for $10 from a small shop in New York City. She thought she looked so hot then.
Well, walking into the store, she did look classy enough to be shopping there. A white chiffon skirt that ended right below the knee, black nylons, and tan-colored leather wedges with small bows on them. Her upper body was clad in a simple but stunning deep purple sweater, with a V-neck, that had elbow-length sleeves and was a bit stylishly long on her. Her black hair had been stuck up with jade and diamond hair pins, makeup being the mod eyes, black eyeliner and mascara, and red lipstick, very conspicuous on her light face. With a few taps of her shoes on the floor, she gravitated toward the agendas and travel accessories.
That's the high class.

((Ha. I'm bumping this, because having nobody reply is infuriating.)
