Lindsay strolled into Starbucks with her black purse in hand. She walked straight up to the counter and pondered at the choices. She ordered a regular coffee, with cream and extra sugar and then sat down at a nearby table. Her now blonde hair was pulled into a messy bun and her black and red tight dress squeezed her rather slim figure. She looked around and saw no one she knew. She took a sip of the warm coffee and sighed. She wished she had some company.

Drew slipped his hand into his back pocket grabbing his wallet pulling it out he approached the front counter ready to buy a mocha frappuccino. He flashed a charming grin at the girl at the counter before telling her what to make him and how to do it properly. Handing her a five dollar bill he retrieved his change and drink before grinning at her again and turning around. Looking around the small café his eyes fell upon a pretty blonde. Of course when he had first met her she had black hair but had recently dyed it. Walking over to her in his usual air of self-righteousness that companied his status of 'Jock' he slipped into the seat across from her. "'Ello luv." He said with a clever grin, "loving the new hair shade darlin'." He complimented her.

Lindsay saw Drew sit across from her. "Well hello there. Thanks, you like it? I was a little shaky about the new dew at first but I'm beggining to like it." she smiled at Drew and how 'jocky' he acted. He always seemed to make her laugh. They really didn't know each other. She only knew him through his sister, who was her best friend. She remebered just last night her calling him a doorknob. She tried not to laugh at the thought. "What brings you to Starbucks?"

Drew nodded, "it suits your complexion. Sure you're a tad pale but you can definatly pull it off." He said with a smile. Somedays Drew could be really straight or really gay, today was one of those days when he was a mix of both. He didn't mind Kiki accepted him. Whether or not his father accepted him made no difference to him. He hated his father, first because of his mum, then the ocean thing, now the move. It all kept building up, Drew couldn't wait to leave home. But he planned on taking Kiki with him, she wanted to finish school so he'd wait. "The view, and the drinks." He said smirking seductively.

"Ahh, so I called it?" she said. She took another sip of her drink and placed her elbows on the table and began to involuntarily play with her black bracelets. She noticed the habit forming and slid her hands onto her lap. Now she began to play with her skull ring. For Christ's sake, why did she have so many habits? She ignored them for now and smiled at Drew.

Smirking Drew nodded, "Aye, tha' yeh did." He took a sip of his drink and looked back up at her. "C'mon." He said standing up, "let's go fer a walk." He said holding out his hand to her. Sure she was his sister's best friend but a little shameless flirting never hurt ANYONE. At least not in his 17 years. Drew smirked mentally before looking down at her with a puppydog face.

Lindsay crossed her arms and smirked playfully. "Hmm, I'll have to think about it." she said. She liked to mess with guys minds first. She looked him over. He was really not her type. She usually dated like guys with peircings and the whole shabam. She waited for his reply, still holding the smirk to her face.

Frowning momentarily Drew slipped back into his seat, "Fine by me if you get fat. It's not like I'm datin' yeh or anythin'." He said with a vicious smirk. Taking another gulp of his mocha frappuccino he smacked his lips together and sighed in content. "I work out so I don't have to worry." He finished.

"Oh that's how its gunna be." she said laughing a small bit. When he said work out, she laughed. "Ok then. You work out to keep skinny. I have an extremely fast metabolism." she said. She honestly did. Her stomach was always very small. It was nice. Expecialy when you had to fit into a coustum for drama. She smoothed out her outfit again and smiled. "I suppose we can go for a walk." she said, hesitant to get up.

Drew seemed a little put out when she didn't go for 'your going to get fat' comment. Brushing it off he took another sip of his coffee looking over the rim at her. When she finally gave in he smirked, "Wonderful. C'mon." He said standing up and holding a hand out to her, "may I escort the lady?" He asked bending low at the waist. Kiki always said that his tactics were 1400's but he found that if you treated women with respect you could get what you wanted.

She hesitantly took his hand. She slowly got up and said, "Yes you may." She led them both out the door. As they approached outside she took in a fresh breath of air. She let the warmth of the temperature fill her lungs. She looked down at her own complexion. She never liked to be tan. It always made her look too preppy. Then she looked at her outfit. And then at his. They were really different. She had on her balck and red tight dress that poofed out at the skirt part and looked kind of toto like. Her shoes made a sound as she walked on them consdering they were black starpy boots that had kitten heels on them. Kitten heels. Sounded so cutesy. She usually just called them stilloettes (sp?). Whatever the case, he was a jock and she was a drama nerd. Not the best combination, but then again, Romeo and Juliet came from two different worlds and worked things out just fine. Except for the fact they both died.

Squeezing her hand lightly he allowed her to lead them out of doors but pushed the doors open for her when appropriate. Hearing the click of her heels he looked down at them and back up at her, "do you know that man only created silhettos to make a woman's ass look smaller and make it harder for her to run away?" He smirked at her before picking up the pace and walking down the street. He hummed lightly to himself 'lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off' he loved that song and was constantly humming it.

"Oh really?" she said raising an eyebrow toward him. "I think I'm perfectly capable of running away if I had to. Actually I've had my shares of run aways in stilloettes." She listened to him hum one of her favorite songs. "Heh- Nice choice of song to hum." she said. She noticed she was still carring her coffee and took a light sip. She continued to walk with him.

Drew arched an eyebrow at her. "Sureeeeeee." He said in a teasing sort of voice. "I'll believe it when I see it." He laughed. He grinned when she commented on his musical preference. "I adore tha' song, like a fat kid loves 'is cake." He said grinning at his common phrase use. "You?" He asked finally turning back to look at her.

"Seriously, I've run so many times in stilloettes before. I'll show you." she said releasing his grip and running extremely fast down the way. "Slow poke." She continued to run and waited for him to catch up. She ran away from so many foster homes this way before, and it certainly brought back bad memories. She stopped running, not short of breath at all and sat on a nearby bench. She layed her face in her hands and began to cry. Why was her freakin' life so crappy. She always acted happy, but no one knew how much it covered up.
