Oliver sat on the cool metal bench, leaning forward slightly. A cigarette was in one hand and the other supported his chin. It was cold out, but not to the point where he would want to return home. Each time the wind blew, Oli had to make sure his cigarette wouldn’t blow out. Last one of the day you know. It wouldn’t be too great, if it were to just burn out. Why did they have to tax cigarettes so badly? It was bad enough that he could barely afford to eat lately.
Well. Okay.
It was Oliver’s fault for even starting up the terrible addiction. One cigarette could leave you with a life long addiction. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Oh well. It didn’t matter anymore. It might have been expensive, but it was the only thing keeping Oliver sane. Besides music that is. Cigarettes and music. Booze would be included, but that was also very expensive. As people passed by, he got some strange looks, but that none of the mattered. To him, nothing could ruin this peace. Oliver had just gotten off of work and this was literally heaven on earth.
