Getting in some practise (open)

Syn hadnt had a good day atall, first the little disagreement with the 'king and queen' of the jocks, then he got into trouble for being late narrowly missing a detention. and now he had to wait for the gym to be opened.

Finally the janitor cameby and opened it for him he gave polite nod the the guy and walked into the changing rooms to get changed into his Gi.

He stepped out minutes later, in his black GI, he removed his shirt, he never lliked those things, it restricted movent of his arms, his white sash around his waist gleamed in the sunlight through the huge glass windows at the top of the gym. "lets get to it" he said to him self as he looked around, he 'borrowed' some of the gymnastics equipment and set it out infront of him and began.

Jumping from the bars on the walls to flipping over boxes, this wasnt exactly the work out he was hoping for, he needed human targets, that is what he would be doing ina few hours time, training with his partners, all of whom have never managed to him back yet. Syn decided to perfom a few katas before leaving, halfway through his second kata, someone opened the gym door, not distrated by his at all, he carried on.

--Aretmis entered the gym, after everyone had gone home. At least, she thought everyone had gone home. She watched silently, as Syn, the guy she'd gotten into a bit of a tiff with earlier that day, practiced. she smiled. He was good. He didnt' even notice her come in....--

"You're amazing..." she comented, walking toward him

--she had always been intrigued by Martial Artsists...-

She broke his concentration, so much that he turned so quickly he lost all balance and had to flip to make sure he'd land on his feet. looking up as he crouched on one knee, he stood and walked over to her. "oh, hey...er thanks, sorry about earlier with duke".

then he noticed that he wasnt wearing his shirt, he looked around for it franticly then he spotted it, on the floor where she was standing. "erm...you couldnt" he montioned to his shirt that lay on the floor. then he made his way and stood next to her. "so where are you still here?, detention?"

--Artemis grinned as he did a flip. She used to be able to do that....*I wonder if I still can..* she thought to herself. She shrugged when he mentioned Duke..--

"No worries. Its all good..." she said, smiling...."I've know Duke long enough, to know he can have a short fuse." she smirked.

--She remembered what happened when her last boyfriend, tried something. Duke wasn't pleased. He was protective like that. Brotherly. Lets just say, the kid is still trying to remember who he is.....--

--She snickered evilly to herself, when he asked for his shirt. She picked it up, and looked at him. A large grin grew on her face. She twirled his shirt in her hands, and laughed....--

"Detention?" she asked, playing mock offended...."ME?! Never....." she rolled her eyes...."But if you must know, yes...." she said, snickering...."Remeber when Mrs. Norbridge's desk fell apart? and her chair rolled out from under her?" she asked, smirking....."Little senior prank, that I got all the credit for...." she sighed....."Teachers always seem to blame me for everything...and some of the time, its not my fault. That time however, the whole desk thing was, but the chair thing wasn't..." she rolled her eyes....

--She looked at him, thinking....--

"You just getting in some practice time?" she asked

"yeah, i heard about that, everyone heard about that" he laughed still looking at his shirt that was revolving in in her hands, he was starting to feel a little embaressed with his bare chest exposed to the world and there she was just smiling at him.

"yea, well not exactly practise, im running through my routine for tonight, ill be receiving my mastership" he said smiling, he was so looking forward to the ceremony, he knew he had the routine in the bag, he had prctised over and over but he was only worried about one thing, the blind fold test. He desperately needed some help in this feild.

"will you give me a hand?, you'll like what im about to ask you" he said to her as he moved into the middle of the gym, removing his sash from his waist.

--Artemis grinned. She saw that he was getting slightly uncomfortable without his shirt. In her head, the little devil, and the little angel, also known as her concience, were battling...--

"Give him back his shirt....enough harsssing him..."
"But its so much fun...."

--The battle raged on, and the angel won. she tossed him back his shirt. She raised an eyebrow when he asked for her help....--

"Sure...." she said, shrugging..."I've nothing better to do..."

"ok, then" he said as he positioned himself in the center of the gym. "now, you see those small feild markers" he pointed out a box of small round cones near where she stood. "pick up a few, as many as you want, then stand infront of me about there," he paced off the distance whatr he need to sucessfully complete this little challenge, he stopped and stamped on the floor, "here" then he walked back and put the blind fold onto his eyes. "ok, now for the fun bit, them markers, throw em at me!"

Miguel barged into the gym, and saw Artemis and Syn doing some sort of target practice blindfolded.

"Oops, sorry, I'm just looking for the weight room, do you know where it is?" he asked, embarassed at how he must look, lost in his own school.
