Lilith sat on the concrete floor, her back against the old building wall. She had skipped school that day with her good friend Rod. She leaned her head back, her hoodie falling off slightly, as she held a cigarette delicately between her fingers. "So....whats with that guy you were 'talking to'..." Rod asked her as he let go of the smoke he had inhaled from his own cigarette. "He's not for me..." she replied not breaking her gaze from the few kids playing at a playground across the street. Rod chuckles for a moment and looks over at them as well,"That guy was so gay"he says bringing the cigarette up to his lips again. "He's not gay!!" she snapped at him turning her head toward him. "Dude he's to gay for Will & Grace" he laughs at his own comment. "Oh yea...well your to stupid for Jackass, happy now neither of you will ever be on TV. " She yelled at him and stood up brushing her off her ripped jeans. "I'll see you late dude I have to get home soon.." she tells him and starts to walk away. She hears him yell back a 'see yea' as she crosses the street and started on her way back home, which was only a about a mile.
Once she got home opening the front door, the sound of her fathers voice was heard. "Lili, is that you?" he called out from the living room. Lilith replied by yelling out a yes and walking over to the staircase to make her way to her room, where she would spend the rest of the day. She passed her sisters room and opened the door to hers. It was the second biggest room in the house, which was pretty big, and had a window sill with a small couch under it. The walls were a medium shade of purple with black sponge work over it, and the ceiling was painted a blackish/blue with those sparkles that stuck to it, making it resemble the night sky. She had a queen size bed, covered in silk that was decorated in Moroccan style, so it was different shades of dark wine colors. And there was a computer desk, book shelf, medium size TV, and various band posters that covered parts of your walls. Lilith slipped off her pink and black vans, dropped her messenger bag and fell on her bed face first as she dozed off.
