Pete got out of his house in one piece, manly because he snuck out of the back window. He was going to stay with Lindsay that night anyway. Pete walked through the night, the pit of his stomach felt nervous, but he fel alright himself. He was just worried about impressing her. He wasnet the most impressive people in the world, but if she could go on a date with him, Pete though it meant something.
When Pete arived at the thearter, he stood outside waiting, still a bit nerovus. But in a good way... then he saw her... and he smiled.

"Hey Pete!" she said getting out of her mini cooper and running to give him a hug. She realesed from the hug and said, "So what movie are we going to see?" She smiled up at him. He looked so nice. She wished she could have looked better. She had on a denim skirt with stringy black boots with stilloettes that came to her knees and a black tight t-shirt that said 'Gothic Cutie' on the front. She continued to smile and waited to hear what movie they'd be seeing. Her eyes smiled too behind all her eyeliner and mascara.

"He held on to Lindsays hand as they walked. "I am not that big of a new movie person so you are going to have to help me out here." He laughed agian. "How about... Silent hill?" Pete asked not knowing if she was into the whole scary movie thing.

"Perfect" she said. She led up to the counter where you get tickets and waited for him to tell the man what movie. She smiled the whole time and came in closer to his side. She liked scary movies. A lot. Plus it was an excuse to act scared and snuggle up to Pete.

Pete nodded and told the man what tickets he wanted. He handed him the money. "Want anything to eat or drink?" Pete asked Lindsay, a smile still on his features.

"Sure." she said smiling. Food, the best part of the movies in her opinion. She walked with him over to the candy counter after they gave their tickets to the man at the door. She looked over the candy and attempted to decide what she wanted. She'd let him pick first though. She smiled again and played with the black bracelets around her wrist. Stop Linds. He knows your nervous habits.

Pete looked down and noticed her playing with her braclets. He smiled. Pete got skittles, one of the only candies he was truly addicted to. "What do you want my dear?" He said smiling still.

"Popcorn sounds good." she said smiling and placing her hands on the counter. She tapped her black painted fingernails on the glass waiting for the food. She came into Pete and gave him a hug. So nice to be with him. So very nice. Someone who would never leave her side. Someone to be there when she needed him the most. Someone who wouldn't cheat on her with her best friend.

Pete felt Lindsay hug him. he hugged her back. He loved everything about her. How he could tell her something, and no one would know the next day. Also how things didint get ackward. Pete saw the food coming, and kissed Lindsays head before he placed the money on the counter. He held her hand. "Ready my lady?" He asked making a fake bow.

Lindsay giggled a bit and gave his hand a squeeze. "Yes." she said. She walked with him to the theatre where the movie they were seieng was playing. She opened the door with her other hand and walked into the theatre. 2 seats in the back middle. Perfect. She began to walk to them when she saw another couple staring at the same 2 seats. They looked so preppy together. Lindsay let go oof his hand to get the seats. She sat down and swung her bag on the seat next to her right before the guy sat down. She gave him a smirk and motioned for Pete to come sit.

"Oh don't be bad." Pete Joked as he sat down. Then laughed slightly at the other couple, sarcasticly poping the colar to his own shirt, looking away so they wouldent see him laughing.

Lindsay laughed and then turned to the movie screen. Stupid previews. They always just wasted time. She slouched in her seat a bit and played with her bracelets. The movie countdown began with more previews. A couple stupid kid movies here, a couple action movies there and some comedy mixed in. This movie was never going to start, was it?

Pete watched the previews and just laughed at them, he laughed at the fake worlds of the Little kid movies. He leaned over and whispered to Lindsay, "Don't you find it weird that they have perfect problems. Like 'mom i want to go to the dance, but my dress riped.'" Then he laughed slightly again, hoping this movie would start.

Lindsay giggled and said, "Yeah, especailly crazy ones with animals." She let out a sigh, "If only they were really the toughest problems in life." She twirled her blonde hair around her finger and watched as the movie started. There really were a lot of people in the thetre. Two groups of roudy fifth graders throwing skittles across the rows, some preppy couples, what looked to be a movie club of random people and a few scattered adults. But no one was really sitting around them and their seats. She was about to say something to Pete when a fifth grader hit her with a skittle on her forehead. She cussed under her breath a bit and threw the skittle to the side. D*mn fifth graders.

Pete looked at Lindsay as she cursed, and he laughed. Then said. "If you though popcorn in the one's with the long hair, hair, when they stand up, they wont know what hit um." He said with a bit of a sly smile.
