The past 3 hours Kiki had spent trying not to get lost. The school was huge and vastly different from her previous one. When introducing herself to her classmates her accent had stuck out like a sore thumb making her incredibly self-conscious. A crumpled sheet of paper was clenched inbetween both hands of the small irish girl as she tried to navigate herself to her next class. Some how she had managed to find herself in the courtyard.
Biting her lip briefly she looked around hoping for a sign to point her the right way but finding none she decided just to sit and gather her bearings. Slumping onto the stone bench she crossed her legs at her ankles and looked about the courtyard, it slightly reminded her of Ireland with all the greenery stragetically set out. Smiling lightly to herself she pulled her satchel into her lap and began rummaging through it for her class list.
Having been lost for the matter of moments she had already forgotten where she was trying to go. Room 125. Yes because I know where that is... She thought savagely to herself. Heaving a heavy sigh she decided to give up her search and just skip the period, they couldn't yell at her she was new...

--Artemis wandered around the grounds. Hearing the bell ring, she contemplated momentarily actually going to class, but decided against it. She sighed, and looked around, expecting to find the grounds devoid of life. Much unexpectedly, she saw a girl sitting alone. The girl looked a bit ticked. Artemis hadn't seen her around before, which meant the girl was new. If Artemis didnt' know you, it was because you were new, or just didn't exist. Thats how she was. You may not know her, from a hole in the wall, but she'll know you.--
--she walked up to the girl, pony-tail swinging behind her as she went.--
"Hey Newbie....." she called, smiling...."Skipping class already? Not a good way to start off at a new school..." she said, jokingly
--A lot of people didnt' get that about Artemis. She jocked. A lot. she was almost ALWAYS sarcastic. a lot of people actually took her seriously, which was not good...--

Kiki sat comtemplating what to do, she knew that she shouldn't skip and her father would have her head if she did, but she couldn't find her way and was in no means interested in American History. She had been practically forced to take it because she was coming from a different country. Pressing weight down on her feet she rocked back and forth slightly. Turning her head she stared wide-eyed at the girl who had just spoken to her.
"Whateva, I can't find me bloody class so I'm jus' skippin' anyways. What kind of loser goes te American History class?" She asked thickly arching an eyebrow. Dropping her satchel at her feet she turned to face the girl again, "Kiki..." She said holding out her hand in an indirect introduction, "Or Kilee. Whateva yeh'd like te call meh. Makes no difference te meh. I tend te answer te tha occasional 'Yo!'" She said with a small awkward laugh.
Kiki looked down at her hand and back up at the girl expectantly. She didn't want to seem rude, that's why she had introduced herself. Though from first impression Kiki figured the girl wouldn't return the gesture due to the smartass attempted joke.

--Artemis took the girls hand, and shook it firmly. She nodded her head in a slight bow, as she always did for some reason, but kept her eyes locked with the girls.--
"Artemis Saggezza..." she said smiling...."Well, Artemis Isis Selene Marie Saggezza...." she said quickly, all in one breath...."You can just call me Artemis." she laughed
--She looked the girl over quickly, thinking. She recognized the accent immediately, but decided not to say anything. If the girl wanted to bring it up, she would. She knew the girl was not expecting the formal introduction she'd returned, but thats how Artemis was. usually...--
"Yeah--American History can really suck sometimes...." she said, shrugging...."Who's your teacher?" she asked curiously

Kiki smiled lightly returning the gesture before taking her hand back to her side. "I think I'll call yeh Artemis." She said with an awkward chuckle. Laughing was almost foreign to her now-a-days at least a real laugh was. She had been faking it for too long, she hoped maybe Fairfield would change things.
Again pressing a force smile that appeared real Kiki spoke, "It doesn't just suck it blows." She mumbled darkly, "Uhummmm..." She mumbled pulling out the schedual sheet again running her finger along the sheet she looked up. "Mrs Montgomery?" She said it coming out as a question. Shoving the page back into her satchel she sat up straight again looking at Artemis.
"Your name... t'is derived from Greek Mythology aye?" She asked, though she knew it was. Perhaps not her variation but their was a male known as Artemis in Greek history. There were certain types of history Kiki liked, greek, egyptian, english, celtic... and some parts of American like the slave trade, and Salem witch trials. But the revolution and liberty bell really didn't make her want to scream in ecstasy.

--Artemis smiled. and nodded....--
"Mrs Montgomery"
--Artemis cringed....--
"Ouch. She's a complete bitch." she said, shrugging.."And yes, it is Greek Mythology. All of my names have some sort of meaning behind them..." she mused.. "Artemis was the greek goddess of the moon & hunt, and Isis was the supreme egyptian goddess of the stars. Selene is french for moon, marie is french for Bitter sea...." she smiled....."My parents really like the stars I guess..." she laughed....."And Saggezza, beleive it or not, means wisdom in Italian...." she shrugged

"Glad to be on her good side for the first day." She laughed shaking her head slightly. "Ah cool, Kilee is a variation of Kyleigh meaning Narrow Land in Celtic. Rhyana is a Celtic goddess and Twist, well I suppose it speaks for itself. Your name's meaning are wicked though. My brother, Drew, his name means... manly and courageous." Kiki allowed herself a giggle, "he's far from that. I've seen him cry far too much, he's terrified of water and he's bisexual." She said shaking her head.
"Manly and courageous written all over him." She rolled her eyes, "do you have any siblings?" She asked Artemis. Somedays she'd rather go without her twin, but he could be fun when he wasn't making fun of her, telling her she ran like a girl, couldn't play soccer worth a shit and blaming her for her mum.

--Artemis grinned. She knew a Drew once, rather, she dated a Drew once. He actually also turned out to be bisexual. *Maybe its the name..* she thought--
"Kyleigh" she repeated to herself....."Beautiful name..." she commented...."And no--I'm an only child." she sighed....."A curse, and a blessing. You get all of your parents attention, and you get all of your parents attention. Depends on what kind of attention, whether its a curse or a blessing...." she laughed

"Yeah, my mum thought so as well. But she decided to change it a bit and made it Kilee." She said rolling her eyes. "Being a twin has it's advantages and disadvantages as well. Like I can blame anything on Drew, but he can do the same." She said with a small laugh, "like he once tried to convince my dad I left the toliet seat up." She said shaking her head, "my dad has this strict thing because I'm in the house all the toliet seats have to be put back down." She said shaking her head.
"No one ever said my dad was healthy up there." She said pointing to her temple. "But I love him somewhere deep down." She said cheekily.
