((See, now am I not only stuck between the RP bad blood, there's real bad blood too. Figures, don't it? )) Cop = Bad. Don't get involved. Don't get involved. Don't get involved."Take a look at this! What do you think?" Well...I just got involved... It's a good thing I like the government. Oh, wait. I don't., thought Remoc. However something snapped him out of his constantly cynical mood. Arty was in handcuffs. This isn't something light. Taking the paper from Seoras, he threw a quick look across it. Unamed witness? Sounds like bull. Signed by Mr. Reinard? Somethings fishy... But it looks in order. The way Remoc saw it there were two things he could do. A) Solve this legally, or B) A good Anarchist always kept a blade on him at all times. But B wouldn't look good on his resume...

Lindsay felt tears welling up in her eyes. Oh no. Seoras. "Artemis, It'll be okay." she said. Lindsay then grabbed her notebook, now crying and said, "Guys, I have to go. I can't be here right now" Lindsay then ran back to her car. She couldn't be there. Not with Seoras and Artemis and a ton of other people. She needed to be somewhere better. She couldn't handle it anymore. She just hoped no one would stop her in her tracks.

Post by Duke Tatum on Apr 26, 2006 17:35:52 GMT -5
There had been a phone call earlier that day- before school. Of course, stupid old Duke had been at the soccer field already, awaiting early practice to start with a few short drills. The cellphone beeped forebodingly, and something about it alerting him at such an hour gave him chills. Duke rushed over, flipping the phone open and discovering that voice-mail had been left. Listening in, he discovered Artemis' voice. She seemed distressed. Wanted to talk about something, she said.
Of course, Duke had the nerve to shrug off the bad feelings and instead decided he would wait until the school day...
Crossing the hiatus between two buildings, Duke found himself walking out into the beaming sun and spotting quite the disaster occuring. His eyes shot around with panic glimmering inside them- what the hell was going on? Artemis was being taken into handcuffs by some malevolent-looking police officer. Sure, Duke had every respect for law enforcement, but not until he had some sort of explanation.
"What the hell is going on here?" Duke said, boldly stepping into the police officer's space and forcing him away from Artemis. Sure- he hadn't really laid a hand on the guy- yet, but he wasn't about to watch his best friend and partner in crime get hauled away without any such movement. Not after everything she had done for him...
But- many would say he was crossing the line. It wasn't every day you bumped a cop away from his prey. Nor would it be good for his own sake.

((Oh, by the way. Remoc doesn't know who you are at all Duke. That why I said 'Some kid'.))
Remoc took a moment to glance up from the warrant, and his forebodingly, slightly violent thoughts, to see Jimmi walking away. Then Lindsay began mumbling something and walked away as well. Y'know, thought Remoc nervously, if this gets violent it would be better to have people nearby.
Then, in one, swift motion both happened. Before he knew it, some kid was up in the cops face demanding to know what was going on. Well don't we all... he thought. "Listen people, let's just calm down for a second."
In all truth, this whole thing was making Christian uneasy and he kept his hand on the blade beneath his jacket. He wasn't stupid enough to try and threaten the guy. But while this cop didn't have a gun, he had constantly held his hand to his taser, even when cuffing Arty, and that made Remoc nervous. Instead, next to his blade were his keys and he was pretty thankful he left his motorcycle in the back right now.

--Artemis watched the scene unfold, with unbelieving eyes. She cringed slightly as Duke wrenched her away from the cop. She looked around, trying to get a footing, so she could figure out what to do.--
--She eyed Christian cautiously. She knew him waaaay too well. She knew what was hidden beneath that jacket of his. she flashed him a warning, their 'ESP' (lol) working overtime. She sighed, starting to realize the magnitude of needing to get the situation under control.--
"Alright!" she yelled, getting their attention, and puttting a stop to the incesant bickering..."Enough. Duke, I love you, but back off." she said firmly, staring them all down...."Seoras, it doesn't matter what you say, if your parents want to press charges, they have the right to, as you're not legal." she said, her voice emotionless...."I'm just going to go and get this figured out. Remoc, and Seoras, meet me at the station. Terri, go home and get your jack ass of a father over here..."
--As Artemis spoke, or yelled rather, she felt like a seargent in the military, giving orders to her troops.--
--The cop just watched as the scene unfolded. *god this chick has some high ranking kids on her side...* he thought to himself....*boxers, anarchists, people who could do some serious damage, the makings of one killer, literally, gang, or mafia.* he looked around.--
--He was quite surprised as Artemis took control of the situation. you dont' see that everyday. A teenage girl, beign dragged away in handcuffs, calming down her peers, so they don't attack anyone. If she wasn't a girl with such a horrendous temper, she's have the makings of a very good military, or police officer. Authority, and control even in the worst of situations. She dealt out orders like it was her job, and the people listened. He was amazed--

((Mein Gott, Arty that's exactly what I was thinking. That why I included the side about my motorcycle. We do have ESP. ;D ))
Remoc nodded his head as Arty began giving orders. While he still had a strange urge to stab something...she was right. The legal road was best. Not saying another word, he turned back towards the school as well as nearly wrenching Seoras's arm from his socket. Half-walking him, half dragging him away he felt little regret. He was supposed to be mad at him for some reason anyways...but he forgot why. Meh.
Course he wouldn't try that on Terri, or Arty for that matter. That was like a death wish.

At Artemis's command, he started walking backward away from her. "Consider it done." Terri gave a quick half-salute before turning and racing the way Remoc had taken with Seoras. Seeing his brother struggling in his friend's grip, he decided to take matters into his own hands, literally, and fix the problem.
"Come on you two, move it!" he called as he barreled into their midst, effectively picking both of them up and continuing to run for the back lot. He deposited them next to Remoc's motorcycle and continued to run for his own car, turning and running backward to yell again. "Just go Seoras! We'll fix this at the station! No screwing around, get out of here! She's depending on us!" He turned back around and drew up to his car door, hitting the remote unlock and whipping the door open to hop in. Seoras was stubborn, but he wasn't stupid. He'd go with Remoc.
Terri pulled out of the space and drove around to the road quickly, taking the turn and heading for his house. His dad had some explaining to do...but after he got him in the car and on the way to the Police Station.

"Seoras, it doesn't matter what you say, if your parents want to press charges, they have the right to, as you're not legal."
"But...he sputtered a bit. Damn her for being right...and for sounding so sure of herself. How did she know this wasn't going to blow up in their faces like Remoc's Physics Labs?
"And where did she get the authority to tell me what to do and where to---" His train of thought abruptly derailed as Remoc yanked on his arm and started dragging him off toward the parking lot. Seoras pulled back, trying to fight him, but Christian had the advantage of catching him off-guard and was clearly pressing it. The goth had managed to plant a foot and force Remoc to halt when he heard a shout. He looked up just as Terri crashed into the pair, Seoras feeling his feet lift from the pavement as his considerably stronger brother forced them along. He protested and was ignored, and was dumped next to the commie's motorcycle with the commie himself.
"Just go Seoras! We'll fix this at the station! No screwing around, get out of here! She's depending on us!"
"Fine, fine," he muttered, still bitter about being dragged across the lot. "Let's go then..."
((is this considered a double post? ^.^))

((...yes. Bad, bad double poster))
Before Remoc could even think, he was in front of his bike. He vaguely remembered being dragged to it. See... this is why it's bad to mess with him, he thought. "Alright Seoras." Said Remoc, tossing him the helmet. There was only one, but he figured it would make Seoras feel slightly less...terrified out of his wits.
"So, you sure your okay with dodging rush hour traffic at 75 miles per hour over the free-way with a Commie? Because there is still time to...Nope, your brother left. No choice, hop on."

((and no Adam, no double post. You're on two different accounts, it doesn't count))
--Artemis watched as her friends scattered at her orders. She felt the cop shoving her toward the car. She glared up at him, anger and hatred in her eyes--
"I'm going! There is no need to man handle me." she spat, her voice venomous.
--She slid into the back of the car, after wrenching herself from his grip. She looked out the window, and a tear slid down her cheek, as the car took off, sirens blaring.--

Lindsay had ran, but only to the back of the building where she could cry. She finished, but still blamed herself for this whole mess. She jumped into her car, wiping away tears and sniffling a bit. She heard the sirens and turned the key fast, put the car in drive and began to follow it to the station.

((...I was kidding))
Seoras squinted his eyes at Remoc as he caught the helmet, trying to figure...nope, he was serious. Damn. He stuffed the helmet onto his head, muttering general curses in the dead language of Egyptian (yes he was a nerd, a poetic indi nerd that liked to study things of the ancients). He glanced at the cruiser as it started to leave.
"What does he need the sirens for? Moron likes to feel important..." Then he saw a car pull out from behind the school with a certain blonde behind the wheel. "Lindsay? I thought she left...whatever."
Seoras hopped onto the back of the motorcycle; he felt a twinge of fear--Remoc would be at the helm on this contraption--but he silenced it in his determination to see this through. That and knowing he would never get to the police station otherwise. "Come on, let's beat that stupid cop there, really freak him out...put him in his place."
