"Im to much of a burden, you saw that the other night." Pete said talking to Angel as if he knew her forever. "The last thing i want to do is burden her with something she shouldent have, its not fair. And i love her so much that i couldent see her hurt like that."

Angel gave him a symapthetic look, she was glad that she was here for him. " Pete it's not your fault " she said as she put one hand on his shoulder " you did what you did to protect her and that takes so much courage and i'm sure she understands that, so don't jump to conclusions, everything's going to be fine" she said as she offered him a comforting hug, realizing that they were talking and helping eachother like they were the best of friends and like they knew eachother better than anyone.

Pete nodded, then hugged her. It was weird, he felt like he knew her for ever. She was easy to talk to, and after she saw what shape he was in the other night there was really nothing for him to hold back infront of her.
"But what has happened to her... she told me so many things. I just worry about her so much, and i just added on to that."

She wrapped her arms around him and ran her hand across his back gently. " it's ok Pete, you didn't do anything wrong, what happened was just an unfortunate event ." she said as she kissed his head gently trying to comfort him. None of this was really his fault and he shouldn't be beating himself up over it.

Everything Angel was doing, was something Pete has not felt in a long time. He felt safe even from his thoughts, and that was a merical. Pete never had a feeling that nothing could touch him and he felt safe with this girl. "Thank you." He said. He jept throwing punches at himself. He was punishing himself for this and he couldent stop. " I am just so worried about her. About me... me and her drink." Pete said with a bit of a smile, it was just funny to him for some reason.

" your welcome" she replied with a small smile. She removed her arm and set them on her lap. She was hoping that all she was doing was comforting him and she hoped Lindsay wasn't going to break up with him because she was lucky to have such a sweet guy like Pete. She looked back up at him " don't be worried, everything's going to be fine" she said as she started to laugh at his last statement " so do i..." she told him

"I guess it is a teenage thing." Pete said sarcastically, as if it were a line out of a bad health education film that they make you watch over and over, yet you never pay attention to them. "Well, it feels good. And it is so bad for you." Pete kept saying it in the same sarcastic voice with a grin on his face.

Angel laughed at his sarcastic tone as she faced his crossing her legs and looked at him " Lindsay is so lucky..." she said to him really meaning it. Pete was a great guy and she wished she could have someone like him.
